We have conducted some research on our donors and explored the many different paths the University allows donors to support us. Depending on what you would like out of your donation we have made an easy walk through of how to support us.
Bearcats Motorsports has fostered students' love for the future of racing through opportunities to develop technical, interpersonal, and conceptual skills. As a student organization, it would be impossible for us to build any of the cars without the support of our incredible friends, families, alumni, and partners. We aren't an uptight team with strict rules and harsh requirements like many other FSAE teams. We pride ourselves on being a fun group of students all playing hard to achieve a common goal. We will often spend time attending fun events together and spending time in the office learning more about each other.
We have learned through our extensive history that to acheive this common goal to the best of our ability we all need to get along and be able to have fun in stressful moments.
Who are you helping?
Bearcats Motorsports is a sponsor-funded and student-led organization comprised of passionate and dedicated members who engineer, fabricate, test and compete with a Formula One-style race car at an annual collegiate competition year after year. Students have the opportunity to hone their engineering, business, design, and leadership skills while building an innovative car. Any donations will help our students continue to build onto the long legacy of the University of Cincinnati’s involvement in Formula SAE. It is thanks to sponsors that we are able to construct a car, function as a team, and continue to teach future engineers real-world design and management skills. Although The University of Cincinnati supplies us with a working space, tools, and a machine shop, we simply could not ensure the longevity of our organization without sponsor support. About the Competition
Started in 1981, Formula SAE (FSAE) is an international competition for student groups who design, manufacture, and race a formula-style car. Over 400 teams from universities worldwide participate in races hosted all over the world. Each year, Formula SAE teams are challenged by a fictional manufacturing company to design and develop a small formula-style racing car. This design culminates at the annual Formula Student competition in May at Michigan International Speedway.
We plan on attending the following events within the 2026 Calendar year.
Your funding will directly support any cars attending these competitions.

OUR HISTORY
Bearcats Motorsports (BCMS) is one of the original four teams to attend the Formula SAE competition. We are a student led organization that will be continuing to build onto the long legacy of the University of Cincinnati’s involvement in Formula Student. Our students will have the opportunity to hone their engineering, business, design, and leadership skills while building an innovative car over the next year. Any donations will help our engineers, business students, and other students of all majors complete this year’s challenger.
